What is climate security and how does this initiative propose to address it? 

Funded by the UN Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund (PBF), this groundbreaking initiative will provide 24-months of support to assess and to address critical climate security challenges faced by the Republic of Kiribati, Tuvalu and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Implemented by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with the governments of the three countries and regional actors, this pioneering initiative represents the first multi-country project of its kind in the region.
