The report focuses on energy sector in Sri Lanka and its linkages to poverty concerns, gaps therein and modalities for overcoming the same. It aims to facilitate the inclusion of a strong energy component into the countries socio-economic development programmes. The report outlines experiences from UNDP and its partners in designing and implementing energy projects.
