Call for Project Proposals: GEF Small Grants Programme in Malawi

The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP), implemented by UNDP, invites eligible non-profit organisations registered in Malawi to submit project proposals under its Eighth Operational Phase (OP8).
Grants ranging from US$5,000 to US$75,000 are available for community-based initiatives addressing biodiversity, land degradation, climate change, and chemicals and waste, while improving livelihoods and promoting social inclusion and gender equality. Projects may run for up to 24 months.
The call targets projects in Mzimba, Rumphi and Nkhata Bay. Proposals under the sustainable urban solutions initiative may also cover Blantyre, Zomba, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.
