UNDP South Africa Impact Report 2025
UNDP South Africa Impact Report 2025
June 5, 2026
The theme of this year's report, "When Africa Led: Global Influence. Local Impact. Systems That Last.", reflects a defining year for South Africa and the continent. As South Africa assumed the G20 Presidency for the first time on African soil, 2025 demonstrated how African leadership can shape global priorities while delivering tangible results for people, communities, and businesses.
Working alongside government, development partners, the private sector, academia, and civil society, UNDP supported efforts to translate policy influence into practical development outcomes, advancing inclusive growth, innovation, climate resilience, digital transformation, and governance.
