Overview

Climate Promise is UNDP’s response to the climate challenge. Addressing the climate crisis requires all countries to make ambitious commitments under the Paris Agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming and strengthen adaptation to its impacts.

Climate Promise supports countries that wish to increase the ambition of their national climate commitment, or NDC, and helps ensure they are able to deliver on it.
