Community Voices: Vision for Regional Economic Recovery in Afghanistan
July 24, 2022
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will hold a forum “Community Voices: Vision for Regional Economic Recovery in Afghanistan”. The forum will be held in person in Kabul on 25 July 2021.
This forum brings together over 200 community leaders representing the main regions of Afghanistan to share their visions for the country’s economic recovery. It aims to draw on Afghanistan’s long and successful history of diversified trade and entrepreneurship to improve lives and livelihoods over the long term.
A related consultation with micro and small entrepreneurs representing communities across Afghanistan will be held on 26 July. This follow-up consultation will aim to articulate specific recommendations on how to increase trade and collaboration between Afghan regions.
