UNDP Social Protection in Latin America and the Caribbean

UNDP in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) offers comprehensive social protection services, including the analysis and evaluation of social protection programs, policies, and systems, as well as assessments of the functioning of the labor market, employment and productive inclusion policies.

Our Offer

Our approach focuses on strengthening inclusive, resilient, and sustainable social protection systems. This includes work across seven key areas: poverty and vulnerability monitoring, assessment for social protection systems, policy support for employment and social assistance, development of social protection infrastructure, formulation of social protection and care policies, building a better adaptive social protection system, and promoting sustainable social protection financing.

Our Resources

At UNDP we bring together key resources that support our work and mission. From relevant publications to specific work on modern solutions such as Digital Public Infrastructure or innovative pilot projects such as the ones under the Funding Windows mechanism funded by Luxembourg, we optimize human and financial resources for social protection in LAC.
