UNDP will present the socio-economic consequences of COVID-19 in the Latin America and the Caribbean region, the measures implemented by governments and UN agencies to help deal with the crisis and to offer a set of recommendations to design policies for a fair and inclusive recovery, which are still relevant in a context of uncertainty.

The event will allow reflection on mechanisms to create greater resilience and reduce persistent inequalities in Latin America and the Caribbean, with particular emphasis on gender disparities.
