COVID-19 Pandemic Response

Humanity needs leadership and
solidarity to defeat the coronavirus

Chronology of the policy response during the COVID-19 pandemic in Latin America and the Caribbean

Governments have been forced to take extraordinary measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, including measures that have given place to an unprecedented economic crisis, and measures to mitigate its effects. UNDP country offices from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) are monitoring governments’ policy response as it has been occurring since the start of the pandemic. The result is a continuously updated dataset containing the chronology of the policy response in LAC, that we put at the service of policymakers, researchers and the general public in the region.
