FFS 2022 QUARTER THREE REPORT

FFS 2022 QUARTER THREE REPORT

February 5, 2023

Since 2015, the Funding Facility for Stabilization has completed 3,396 projects across the five liberated governorates of Anbar, Diyala, Kirkuk, Ninewa, and Salah al-Din. This stabilization support has facilitated the return of almost 5 million displaced Iraqis to their areas of origin.

Key achievements in Q3 2022 included the finalization of works on the Mosul Medical Fluids Factory, which provides dextrose and other IV fluids to hospitals across northern Iraq, and the rehabilitation of the Big Ramadi Water Project (stage II) providing around 400,000 individuals with clean water supply. Efforts to strengthen government capacities to sustain gains achieved by the FFS and for authorities to take over the stabilization agenda have accelerated and will continue.

This report provides an overview of FFS activities during the third quarter of 2022 (1 July to 30 September 2022).
