Inclusive Access to Markets
Overview
'Inclusive Access to Markets' is the EU-supported UNDP initiative that empowers small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Georgia to access EU and European markets. It helps SMEs foster their capabilities and enhance value chains.
With EUR 5,162,000 in funding from the European Union (EUR 5,000,000) and UNDP (EUR 162,000), the project is implemented in partnership with the Estonian International Development Centre (ESTDEV).
What we do
Key activities include:
- Support for Georgian SMEs in taking full advantage of international trade fairs and B2B events, boosting their sales potential in the EU and European markets.
- Financial and technical assistance to increase access to EU and European markets.
- Boost export trade deals with the EU and European countries through improved lead generation.
- Empower Georgian SMEs to become exporters to the EU and European countries.
- Identify needs and constraints for international market positioning for SMEs in the target sectors.
- Targeted support for value chains to increase trade linkages with EU market systems.
Expected results
- Increased exports to the EU and European countries.
- Strengthened value chains with robust growth and export potential.
