In the third year of implementing the UNDP Country Programme Document (CPD) for Eritrea 2017 -
2021, and the Strategic Partnership Cooperation Framework (SPCF) 2017 - 2021, UNDP's work in 2019 continued to advance Eritrea's development agenda towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2019, leveraging on ongoing initiatives, UNDP’s interventions were delivered within the four signature solutions of the principles of UNDP Strategic Plan (SP): keeping people out of poverty; consolidating governance for peaceful, just, and inclusive societies; supporting nature-based and homegrown environmental resilient solutions for development and women's empowerment and gender equality.
