Drought, land degradation, and desertification (DLDD) represent a critical and accelerating challenge for the Asia and the Pacific region. The region is home to some of the world’s most severely affected drylands and rangelands, and yet it is also a critical part of the solution, serving as a hub for innovation, policy development, and investment in sustainable land management and restoration. UNDP is helping countries to design, test, and scale many of these approaches across the region.
