Gender and Climate Finance Collective (GCFC) resource hub

A repository of tools for gender-responsive climate finance

Introduction to the Hub

The Gender and Climate Finance Collective (GCFC) Resource Hub brings together practical knowledge, tools, research, and financing examples that support gender-responsive climate finance. The collection draws on work from multilateral funds, development banks, research institutions, and practitioners working at the intersection of climate action and gender equality. It is designed to help policymakers, financial institutions, researchers, and practitioners understand how to integrate gender considerations into climate finance systems, project design, financial instruments, and investment strategies.

About the GCFC

This hub is an initiative of the Gender and Climate Finance Collective (GCFC), a regional advisory and learning platform across Asia and the Pacific co-led by the UNDP, UNEP, and UN Women. Recognizing that climate change reinforces existing inequalities, the Collective was formed to ensure that financing choices mitigate rather than reproduce these disparities. The GCFC brings together governments, civil society, the private sector, think-tanks, and development partners to exchange knowledge, provide guidance, and expand gender-responsive and inclusive climate finance solutions.
