Scaling up UNDP's programmatic engagement on Business and Human Rights

July 1, 2020

UNDP's 2020 Annual Meeting on Rule of Law and Human Rights was organized 29 June-1 July to promote an exchange between Member States, UNDP and UN experts, Practitioners, and civil society on the rule of law, security and human rights. The virtual event showcased innovative responses based on human rights and built from solid partnerships with governments, civil society and the private sector.

The session Responsible Business and the Decade of Action gave an overview of UNDP's work in the area and outlined future plans for scaling up the organization's engagement on Business and Human Rights (B+HR). The session also featured Livio Sarandrea, Lead Advisor and Team Leader of the B+HR Asia project introducing UNDP's largest B+HR programme.
