At the Accelerator Lab of UNDP Argentina, the Co_Lab, we learn from the grassroots solutions that people use in their daily lives to better understand the complex challenges that hamper development and to contribute to strategies to address them. We are a research and development unit that works with portfolios on different topics to support governments and other organizations.

The complex problems that limit development are multidimensional and are articulated in systems with a specific dynamic. Therefore, we have created a complementary methodology to address this complexity, by exploring, mapping solutions, and experimenting with them. We learn and help grow what works what works for people, using collective intelligence to promote innovation.

In a world where change is accelerating at an unprecedented pace, we need to anticipate what lies ahead and identify the solutions that enable urgent action.

The Co_Lab is part of UNDP's global network of more than 90 Accelerator Labs. This network is supported by organizations including the Qatar Fund for Development, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), Nesta, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), among others.
