October 27, 2020

This brief highlights the key achievements of the Supporting Resilient Livelihoods and Food Security in Yemen (ERRY II) Joint Programme, its contribution to fighting COVID-19, and the recent challenges its faced. The brief also illustrates success with the stories of beneficiaries and the best practices learnt across all components.

ERRY II is a three-year joint programme co-financed by the European Union and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). It is implemented in Yemen by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Labour Organization (ILO) and World Food Programme (WFP) in six vulnerable governorates: Abyan, Hajjah, Hodeidah, Lahj, Sana'a and Taiz.

The overall objective of the Joint Programme is to contribute to reduced vulnerability and strengthened resilience in crisis-affected communities in Yemen through the creation of sustainable livelihoods and improved access to basic services.
