This Environment and Social Management Framework (ESMF) was prepared for the UNDP developed “Conservation and Sustainable Management of Land Resources and High Value Ecosystems in Lake Sevan Basin for Multiple Benefits” Full-Sized Project (FSP) funded by the Global Environmental Facility (GEF).  
The overall objective of the project is to is to promote an integrated landscape approach and land degradation neutrality (LDN) in the vicinity of protected areas (PBAs) and other key biodiversity areas in the Sevan Basin through Integrated Spatial Land Use Planning (ISLUP), including pastures, forests sustainable management and efficient use of water in irrigated cropland areas, as well as conservation of biodiversity in the Sevan National Park and other biodiversity hotspots outside it. The details of the project are presented in the attached ProDoc approved by the GEF and other related documents.
