The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP), implemented by UNDP Uganda, is inviting eligible community-based organizations, civil society organizations, and non-governmental organizations to submit proposals for community-led initiatives that address environmental challenges while improving livelihoods and generating global environmental benefits.

Under Operational Phase 8 (OP8), grants of up to USD 40,000 will be awarded to projects aligned with one or more of the following areas:

• Community-based conservation of threatened ecosystems and species

• Sustainable agriculture, fisheries, and food security

• Catalysing sustainable urban solutions
