Ms. Nahid Hussein, Resident Representative

Ms. Nahid Hussein, UNDP Resident Representative for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She was the UNDP Deputy Resident Representative for Yemen, the Deputy Resident Representative a.i Somalia, and served at senior positions in Iraq, Pakistan, Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Kosovo. Ms. Hussein holds a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy, Switzerland, Geneva, and a Law Degree University of Khartoum, Sudan.
Margaret Jones Williams, Deputy Resident Representative

Margaret Jones Williams, is UNDP Deputy Resident Representative for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining the team in KSA Margaret served UNDP in various positions including as Deputy Resident Representative for Suriname; Officer-in-Charge for Guyana; Head of Natural Resources Management, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction in Lao PDR; and Head of Environment and Energy Unit in Jamaica, thereby serving UNDP across several bureaus - Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia Pacific and now in the Arab States. Prior to joining UNDP, Margaret worked in the private sector, public sector and academia on the application of sound environmental management practices and climate change adaptation across several sectors. Margaret has a background in marine biology, coastal zone management, environment l impact assessments and has a PhD in Oceanography and Environmental Management from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom where she studied as a Commonwealth Scholar.
