8:00 pm – 9:30 pm (SGT)
Virtual (Zoom)
Overview
The event aims to officially launch the Low-Cost, Easy-to-Use Toolkit for Monitoring Local Air Quality. Jointly developed by the UNDP Global Centre Singapore and AirGradient, the Toolkit serves as a practical and comprehensive Do-it-Yourself (DIY) resource to help local communities with limited resources and technical capacity independently set up and manage low-cost, reliable air quality monitoring sensors.
Beyond the launch, the event will bring together technical experts, practitioners, policymakers, and community partners for a focused discussion on the role of open-source, community-driven monitoring in expanding access to hyperlocal air quality data. The session seeks to highlight how locally generated, hyperlocal information can strengthen awareness, enable more inclusive participation, and inform evidence-based actions for cleaner, healthier air.
