Power for What Matters presents findings from a 2025 nationwide survey of 3,667 people across all ten provinces of Solomon Islands, exploring how communities would prioritise affordable renewable electricity. The findings show strong demand for energy that supports essential community services—including education, health, water, food preservation, safety and connectivity—while highlighting affordability as a major barrier, particularly for households without electricity access. The report provides practical evidence to help inform more affordable, locally responsive and sustainable rural energy investments in Solomon Islands.
