Bringing the world to the Pacific 


Pacific Island Countries have long been at the forefront of global climate leadership, helping shape international ambition while advancing practical solutions in renewable energy, resilience, ocean stewardship and climate finance. 

Ahead of COP31, the opportunity is to connect these experiences with the partnerships and investment needed to scale implementation.

For the first time, global climate leaders, negotiators and partners will gather in the Pacific ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference, allowing decision-makers to see first-hand both the realities of climate change and the locally led responses that are helping communities adapt, thrive and build resilience.

As the world moves from ambition to implementation, hosting Pre-COP in the Pacific is more than a logistical milestone. It is an opportunity for the world to listen, learn and act, while carrying Pacific experiences, priorities and solutions forward to COP31 in Türkiye.
