Jorge Mariscal

Chief Investment Officer for Emerging Economies of the UBS Financial Group. Before joining UBS, Jorge was a member and Head of Investment Strategies at the Rohatyn Group, a New York-based multi-million dollar investment management group focused globally on emerging economies. Jorge Mariscal was Administrative Director for Goldman Sachs where he coordinated the research product for emerging economies as Head of Profitability Strategies in Latin America.

Jorge Mariscal holds a BA in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de México, Mexico City, and a PhD in Development Economics and International Finance from the New York University. Jorge is profesor of the Emerging Financial Markets class at the College of Public and International Relations (SIPA) at Columbia University.
