It means restoring services and opportunities, recovering livelihoods, strengthening capacities, and helping communities rebuild with dignity and greater resilience.

Rapid assessments

Comprehensive debris management
UNDP is supporting the management of the 2.1 million tons of debris through sorting, recycling, and reuse — incorporating disaster risk reduction and environmental sustainability criteria.
This makes it possible to:
- Safely remove debris
- Restore community services
- Recover homes and public spaces
Inclusive recovery, with people at the center
UNDP supports access to medicine and mental health services, as well as continuity of treatment for non-communicable diseases.
In addition, AI-powered mobile X-ray units are visiting temporary camps to strengthen early tuberculosis diagnosis.

A concert for Venezuela
