About us

Since 1966, UNDP has been a committed partner of the Government of Iran in fulfilling its development objectives. UNDP has also been working closely with other development partners, such as civil society, academic institutions and the private sector, by providing technical assistance and knowledge for more than 50 years.

Our Team

The UNDP Resident Representative is the UNDP Administrator's representative at the country level, and head of the country office being ultimately responsible for the quality and sustainability of UNDP interventions.

The number and diversity of donors contributing to UNDP programmes confirms the confidence of the national government and the international and local community in our role as a partner of choice for sustainable development.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the designated focal point for UNDP and thus approves and signs the Country Programme Document (CPD) with UNDP.
