The Value Beyond Value Chains guidance note outlines how companies can collaborate more effectively with governments in producer countries to create the enabling conditions for sustainable agricultural production. The guidance note has been produced for major producers and buyers of agricultural commodities. It explains the rationale for acting beyond value chains in order to help create the enabling conditions for sustainable production—specifically by supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives at landscape, subnational and national level in producer countries.
