Violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in our world today. One in three women worldwide has experienced physical or sexual violence – in many places, this number is even higher.

But change is possible.

From Spotlight Initiative's #WithHer campaign comes 'A brighter future', a short video series centred around five activists and gender-based violence survivors in Uganda. The campaign illustrates how Spotlight Initiative's unique and comprehensive model brings together the United Nations system, governments, and a wide range of partners to deliver high-impact solutions that save women and girls' lives.
