UNDP El Salvador Accelerator Lab

We work closely with the government and the national innovation ecosystem to fast forward inclusive development to reach the SDGs.

The UNDP Accelerator Lab team in El Salvador is currently working around two cycles of learning. The first is a deep dive into the ways in which multiple sources of data can inform policy decisions, grassroots innovation and effective communications at the intersection of water and livelihoods. We are applying collective intelligence, mapping community-based practices and solutions, and experimenting with combining AI-powered data collection with qualitative insights.

For the second cycle, the El Salvador Lab is supporting the country office to create a portfolio of activities around inclusive digitization and financial inclusion through the first project to adopt the Lab's methodology.

Additionally, the Lab is working with government and private sector partners to bring our methodology to every corner of El Salvador. The first step is the launch of the Accelerator Lab’s kit, which you can download HERE and assemble as a DIY, open-source project.
