Collective Intelligence for Climate Action

About UNTAPPED: Collective Intelligence for Climate Action

UNTAPPED is first-of-its-kind research which demonstrates that collective intelligence can advance climate action by generating more real-time, localized climate data and by mobilizing more people and diversifying perspectives.

This new research builds on the knowledge generated by cutting-edge experiments from the UNDP Accelerator Labs Network, reaching more than a hundred countries in the Global South including 36 LDCs and 38 SIDS, and an analysis conducted in partnership with Nesta’s Centre for Collective Intelligence Design of 100+ initiatives across 45 countries that tap into people’s participation and use new forms of data to adapt to the impact of climate change and reduce carbon emissions. Join us to learn how collective intelligence is an untapped resource with emerging potential to close gaps in climate action.
