Gov4Res

What we do

Pacific Island people will be more resilient to the impacts of climate change and disasters if all Pacific Island people determine and lead Pacific resilient development.

The UNDP Gov4Res project creates spaces for developing and implementing progressive and tailored governance shifts towards more resilient development. By nurturing sharing and learning on the same topics, Pacific decision makers and stakeholders will have the opportunity and capacity to shape and deliver enhanced resilience through their governance systems.

Gov4Res works with Pacific colleagues on the issues and opportunities they identify to achieve more resilient development, beginning with their priorities for improvement. It also works through national institutions, including national and local government financial systems to promote Pacific led and determined governance.
