Students visit Oslo Governance Centre
The UN Student Association (UNSA) Oslo made a visit to the Oslo Governance Centre to learn more about career prospects at the UN. The primary aim of UNSA Oslo is to raise awareness and create healthy dialogue on global challenges addressed by the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals. By hosting regular events such as meetings, seminars, panel discussions, and other social gatherings that draw a diverse spectrum of people, the student association is an exemplary facilitator of meaningful discussions on issues that concern global society as a whole.
Director Arvinn Gadgil and head of UNDP Norway, Nordic Representation Office, Harald Thorud, shared their knowledge and experiences on the various entryways into the UN-system.

Following the presentations, the students and current UNDP interns mingled and talked about the application process, their academic backgrounds, extracurricular activities, and career aspirations.
It is inspiring to see so many promising young and ambitious students who are enthusiastic about working with the UN to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and to address global issues.
