The Strategy provides a number of interventions to facilitate gender integration during implementation of electrification projects including: consumer financing and pricing mechanisms targeting vulnerable groups including female headed households, gender targeted public awareness and marketing activities, gender inclusive training and employment opportunities to ensure that women and men benefit from the jobs created by electrification projects.
