The Community Conservation Agreement (CCA) framework provides for the Resource Owner, in this case the community, and the Investor to agree that the Resource Owner will undertake agreed sustainable practices within and on the fringes of the forests, the “Area of Impact”, in order to achieve Conservation Outcomes including protecting and sustainably managing the forest in exchange for benefits to be provided by the Investor.
