STEAM/Sebabatso 2026
The Prime Minister's Vanguard Initiative for Youth Empowerment, known as Sebabatso, was launched in October 2023 to address youth unemployment and limited economic opportunities in Lesotho.
Now in it's fourth year, the Government of Lesotho and UNDP Lesotho are excited to announce that applications are open for Sebabatso 2026 cohort.
Sebabatso focuses on removing barriers that hinder youth-led enterprises from growing into sustainable businesses by strengthening entrepreneurship, improving access to markets and finance, and building the capacity of young innovators. This program is delivered with the STEAM Initiative, implemented in collaboration with UNDP Lesotho and the Ministry of Gender and Youth, Sports and Recreation. The STEAM Initiative promotes innovation and creative problem-solving.
This year, applications for both initiatives are in the same application form.
