October 22, 2026
Approximately USD 2.33 million in grant support is envisaged for 16 projects focusing on climate change, biodiversity conservation and strengthening civil society capacities across Türkiye.
The selection process under the Eco Future Grant Programme, implemented as part of the European Union-funded “Supporting Capacity of CSOs in the Field of Climate Change and Biodiversity Project” by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has been completed. The Grant Programme aims to strengthen the capacities of civil society organisations (CSOs) working in the fields of climate change and biodiversity, promote cooperation among relevant stakeholders, and support locally driven approaches to environmental sustainability and climate resilience.
Following the evaluation process, 16 projects have been selected for grant support, with a total requested grant amount of approximately USD 2.33 million. The selected projects address a broad range of environmental and social challenges, including biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, climate change mitigation and adaptation, sustainable production, disaster resilience, and inclusive participation in environmental initiatives.
With implementation periods ranging from 12 to 18 months, the selected projects are expected to contribute to stronger civil society participation, enhanced institutional capacities and more inclusive and sustainable responses to climate change and biodiversity challenges across Türkiye.
