This case study, Building the Foundation of a Government-Led Displacement Data System in Somalia, highlights the collaboration between Joint IDP Profiling Service (JIPS) and UNDP Somalia to strengthen national data systems for internal displacement. The case study outlines ongoing efforts to improve the availability and use of displacement data for evidence-based policymaking and inclusive development planning, with particular attention to national statistics.
