1st Call for Proposals: GEF Small Grants Programme OP8

This call for proposals is opened to all national civil society organizations.

The GEF Small Grants Program is launching a call for project proposals for national civil society organizations, indigenous communities, groups of people living with disabilities, vulnerable groups, women's associations, faith communities, educational and academic communities, targeting the Cameroonian coastline, with priority areas including the edge of Campo Maan National Park, the Manyange Na Elombo-Campo Marine Park, Ebodje, the Kribi Rural-Urban continuum, and Bipindi. During its 8th OP8 (2024-2028), projects submitted to the GEF SGP UNDP must address the strategic initiatives targeted for this cooperation cycle, as cf. the approve Country Program Strategy Results Framework.  The deadline for project proposals is November 1st, 2025.

Please Note: Only organizations whose proposals have been pre-selected will be contacted.

  • Providing proof of recognition by the Ministry of Territorial Administration (MINAT) is an asset.
  • Having a permanent office in the GEF SGP OP8 landscape is an asset.
