NAP and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in Thailand

UNDP through the Business and Human Rights Project has been supporting the Royal Thai
Government led by the Rights and Liberties Protection Department of the Ministry of Justice since the process of drafting to implementing the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights (NAP) (2019 – 2022).

To promote public awareness on the implementation of the NAP and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) in Thailand, UNDP in collaboration with the Rights and Liberties Protection Department of the Ministry of Justice, with support from the European Union, produced a series of business and human rights publications.

This series of publications comprises of four brochures and one booklet which summarize key content of the NAP and the UNGPs and highlight the roles of public and private sectors on driving the business and human rights agenda in Thailand.

UNDP is committed to support Thai government and businesses to transform their commitment on Protect, Respect, Remedy framework under the UNGPs into action.
