B+HR Lab 4: Towards the Next Decade of Action | 30 November

At the event participants will discuss the challenges and opportunities in the quickly evolving business and human rights space. The inputs provided by the participants of the Lab will be collected by UNDP and submitted to the Next Decade Project, led by the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights (UNWG). The the report summarizing this event and the feedback submitted to the UNWG will be shared on the B+HR Asia website.

The Essentials of HRDD in Business: A Training for ASEAN Institutions | 1-2 December

In partnership with the AEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR), B+HR Asia is organizing a training for representatives from ASEAN Member States to give an insight into the basics of human rights due diligence (HRDD) in business.

Indonesia: National Dialogue on the National Strategy on Business and Human Rights | 25 November

Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights announces the first draft of Indonesia’s National Strategy on Business and Human Rights to share the document with the wider public and initiate public consultations.

Thailand: Business and Human Rights Academy | 8, 14, 15 December
Open for registration

The UN Global Compact Network and UNDP Thailand organizes a Business and Human Rights academy for participants from the business sector. The training gives an insight into the basics of business and human rights and human rights diligence and why business should take steps to integrate the respect for human rights into their operations. The sessions will be conducted in Thai language.
