This position paper targets policy makers within the various ministries and departments in the government of Zimbabwe, civil society organisations and international organisations that partner government in combating sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). The purpose of the paper is to provide insights into how the formal and informal justice systems can be utilised in complementarity as a means to promote access to justice for survivors and victims of sexual and gender-based violence.
