Turkmenistan is part of a High-level Meeting on Partnerships to Strengthen Support to National Human Rights Institutions

The Ombudsperson`s Office (OO) of Turkmenistan, with support of UNDP, participated in a two-day Virtual Meeting 2021 of TriPartite Partnership (TPP) of UNDP, GANHRI and OHCHR to support National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) Annual Review and Partnership Platform. 

The annual TriPartite Partnership (TPP) meeting to support NHRIs aims to foster closer collaboration between the UN system and NHRIs, their Regional Networks, and the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI). By promoting an exchange of information, knowledge, good practices, challenges, and crystallizing capacity needs through a virtual dialogue, the TPP partners and broader stakeholders in the UN system will set joint and complementary priorities for engagement and support in the coming period.

On October 6, The TPP meeting will include one public knowledge sharing event on NHRIs on the UN Call to Action on Human Rights.
