(Past Event) How to Run a Virtual Event, 4 July 2020

July 4, 2020

All of us have experienced a huge surge in both organising and participating in online Events given the COVID-19 situation around the globe. Many of us have tried to run online engagements of our own with sometimes great and sometimes mixed results.

Given that virtual events are here to stay, we want to support all youth social entrepreneurs, youth initiatives as well as youth focused organisations to plan and execute these events in the most engaging way. This skill is going to be crucial to stay relevant, to reach the right audience and to share your projects, ideas, or cutting-edge solutions.

In this interactive session, James Ellsmoor, Founder and CEO, Island Innovation, shared what it takes to run a successful virtual event. James created and runs the Virtual Island Summit every year, engaging over 4000 people from across the globe on a digital platform.
