The Information and Coordination Centre for Disease and Disaster in West Java – or Pikobar in Bahasa Indonesia - is a crisis centre formed for the mitigation and resolution of COVID-19 issues in West Java. As part of this response, the Jabar Digital Service in West Java has developed an open-source app and web-tool that allows West Java citizens to access the latest COVID-19 data, submit requests for help, access emergency numbers, and clarify misinformation.
Use Cases
Pikobar is an intuitive and comprehensive resource for citizens. It provides information on COVID-19, which includes not just useful content like myth-busting and background to key concepts such as social distancing, but also highlights the most relevant government services including providing contact details.
