UNDP's Women in Judiciary Dashboard is the first global dataset tracking women’s representation across judicial systems worldwide.
The dashboard uses harmonized official data from over 120 countries and provides a comparable global picture of gender gaps in the judiciary and supports more informed policy dialogue.
This matters because data does more than describe reality — it makes reform possible. When women lead across the justice chain, institutions are better placed to build trust, deliver fairer outcomes, and respond in more gender responsive ways. Yet, for too long, information has been fragmented and incomplete.
By bringing together comparable country data, this platform shows where women are advancing, and where barriers remain, especially at the highest levels.
