| WHY? | The inaugural Sahel Governance Forum, hosted by The Gambia in collaboration with the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation (GJF), the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS), the Office of the Special Coordinator for Development in the Sahel (OSCDS) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will be convened at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre in Banjul, The Gambia, from 30 to 31 July 2025. The forum will serve as a high-level platform, bringing together governments, regional bodies, civil society, and development partners to collectively reimagine governance in the Sahel and officially launch the first edition of the “Future of Governance in the Sahel” report. |
