Zimbabwe’s development context presents a complex mix of economic pressures, climate risks and institutional reform efforts. This Independent Country Programme Evaluation finds that UNDP has played an important role in supporting national priorities, drawing on its long-standing relationships and ability to work across different sectors and levels of government. The evaluation highlights contributions to health systems, resilience-building and governance, while also identifying opportunities to strengthen the sustainability of results and deepen support for longer-term policy change.
