Covering the period of 2022–2026, the ICPE Suriname examines UNDP's contribution to national development priorities as Suriname navigates economic recovery and prepares for a period of rapid transformation linked to future oil production. It highlights support to environmental management, institutional strengthening and the inclusion of indigenous and tribal communities, while noting the challenges of translating project-level achievements into sustainable, longer-term change.
