This evaluation covers UNDP interventions implemented in the Democratic Republic of Congo between 2020 and 2023 in the context of the country programme 2020–2024. As part of this programme, UNDP focused on three outcomes: governance and effective institutions; inclusive growth and rural development; and stabilization and resilience. The report provides evaluative evidence of UNDP contributions to development results at the country level, as well as the effectiveness of the UNDP strategy in facilitating and mobilizing national efforts to achieve development results. Based on its findings, it made six recommendations to strengthen the work of UNDP in the Democratic Republic of Congo in support of national development priorities.
