Covering the period 2021–2025, the Independent Country Programme Evaluation conducted in Chile examines UNDP's contribution to national development priorities during a time of political change and continued debate over the country's social contract, alongside growing attention to climate and territorial challenges. It highlights UNDP's support for evidence-based policymaking and inclusive policy dialogue, as well as efforts to strengthen institutions in areas ranging from democratic governance to climate action. The evaluation identifies opportunities to deepen territorial engagement and better connect work at the policy and local levels as UNDP plans for its next country programme in Chile.
